How to modify an Outlook account?
1 - Start Microsoft Outlook"File"
"Account settings"
3- Select "Account Settings" again
4- A new window appears, select the account to modify then click on "modify"
5- A new window appears. Enter the following parameters:
your name: e-mail account name
email address: your entire email address (name@domain.yz)
account type: select "IMAP" (recommended by DFi)
Incoming mail server: Enter the following address "mailng.yourdomain.com"
outgoing mail server: enter the following address "smtpng.yourdomain.com"
username: your entire email address (name@domain.yz)
password: the password linked to your email address
Check the field "Remember password"
Then click on "Additional Settings"
6- A new window appears. Go to the "Outgoing server" tab and check the line "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
7- Then go to the "Advanced Options" tab.
At the "Use the following encrypted connection type" line, select "SSL". Assign the incoming server (IMAP) the value "993" [995 in the case of a POP configuration].
In the second line "Use the following encrypted connection type", select "SSL" and then assign the value "465" to the outgoing mail server (SMTP).
Save these settings by clicking "OK"
8- Click on "Next"
9- A test window appears. If both lines are valid, the configuration of your Outlook account has been successful. Click on "Close".
10- The configuration of your Outlook account is now complete.
