This year 2018 confirmed the already well-established trend of mobile browsing.
The smartphone remains the preferred medium for going on the Internet, and this is increasingly so.
If the navigation media (computer, smartphone and tablet) tend to alternate throughout the day, the agency counts 34 million mobile users daily, 3 million more than last year. Social networks and messaging are on the rise
What do Internet users mainly do when they surf? As in recent years, their activity is mainly focused on social networks.
On the average of 1h37 per day spent on the Internet, 1/5 of the time is devoted to social networks. Among 15-24 year olds, it is a third of the time spent.
In all, more than 30 million Internet users visit social platforms daily.

Subscriptions and e-commerce, how do we consume?
On the internet, French Internet users are also very fond of cultural content and information.
To access this content, more and more users are choosing paid models.
Subscription platforms for consuming music, films/series such as Netflix, Spotify and others have made it possible to educate Internet users to pay for quality services.
Good news for media sites that have moved towards premium content.
On the e-commerce side, 39.3 million Internet users (i.e. 9/10 of them) have already made purchases online.
