Google Launches In-App Product Ads In Google Images
The search giant has just announced the launch of "shoppable ads" on Google Images.
These images will be tagged with products that can be purchased directly from Google Images.
Google did not look far for its new advertising format.
It was directly inspired by what Pinterest and Instagram do: an image containing "tagged" products that can be purchased by clicking on the image.
On a Google Images search "Table", it will thus be possible to come across images containing tables, by passing over the image, one will be able to have access to the price and the brand / model.
This new format is intended for retailers and will make the conversion tunnel more fluid.
Google Images is an important point of contact in researching a product before buying it, so it is only natural for Google to offer an advertising product suitable for this purpose.
