A Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a virtual server configured on a physical server.
With this system, you have full access to your virtual server (root access). Costs are reduced because multiple virtual servers are configured on a physical server.
Each virtual server has a defined resource allocation (memory, processor, disks, etc.) of the physical server. You have root access (for Linux) or administrator (for Windows) as on a dedicated server. You can install the applications of your choice.
